Barton Bobcat Wind Ensemble 
The Barton Bobcat Wind Ensemble, conducted by Mrs. Rauschuber, is the Varsity Concert Ensemble at Barton Middle School. Admission into the Wind Ensemble is by audition only. The Wind Ensemble performs the finest repertoire for wind band including both contemporary and classic works, as well as transcriptions and marches. This ensemble has a long and rich history of performance excellence. These performances include the following:  Pep Rally's, Fall Concert, Veteran's Day Concert, Winter Concert, UIL Concert and Sightreading, Spring Concert, and Solo & Ensemble. This ensemble rehearses each day during 4th period.

Barton Bobcat Symphonic Band
The Barton Bobcat Symphonic Band, conducted by Mr. Roseman, is the Non-Varsity Concert Ensemble at Barton Middle School. Admission into the Wind Symphony is by audition only. This wind band’s programs feature challenging and varied literature in preparation for their performances throughout the school year.  These performances include the following:  Pep Rally's, Fall Concert, Winter Concert, UIL Concert and Sightreading, Spring Concert, and Solo & Ensemble. This ensemble rehearses each day during 2nd period.

Barton Bobcat Concert Band
The Barton Bobcat Concert Band, conducted by Mr. Santana, is the Sub Non-Varsity Concert Ensemble at Barton Middle School with placement by audition only. This ensemble is devoted to the study and performance of important wind band literature while continuing work in the development of instrumental craft.  Performances include the following:  Pep Rally's, Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Spring Concert, and a Festival Concert and Solo & Ensemble. This ensemble rehearses each day during 5th period.

Barton Bobcat Jazz Ensemble 
The Barton Bobcat Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Mr. Santana, rehearses each day during 3rd period.  Jazz Ensemble students study and perform a wide variety of Jazz Styles. Performances for Jazz Ensemble include: Small setting performance for Veteran's Day Honorees, the Winter Concert, and Spring Concert.

Barton Bobcat Beginner Band
The Beginning Band focuses on learning and honing the fundamental skills necessary to enter the 2nd year of Band with confidence.  Students learn how to care and play their instruments, while learning how to ready music, count rhythms, and begin upper level skills such as tuning and listening to the blend and balance of the ensemble.  Students are split into Studios  and are smaller groups than a regular Band Ensemble described above so they receive specialized instruction on their instrument.  Performances for Beginners include:  Beginner Band Showcase, Winter Concert, Spring Concert, a Festival Concert at Schlitterbahn Soundwaves, and Solo & Ensemble.  Beginner Band Periods meet 1st, 6th, and 7th pd during the school day.
