Mrs. Dani Rauschuber is a graduate of Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio.  She was a member of the Texas Music Educator Association (TMEA) All-Region and All-Area Band and Orchestra throughout High School as a flute and piccolo player.  Mrs. Rauschuber graduated with a Bachelor’s in All-Level Music degree in December 1996 from The University of the Incarnate Word.  While at Incarnate Word, she participated in Jazz, Choir, and Chamber Orchestra ensembles.
 
Mrs. Rauschuber has held band director as well as elementary music positions in Fort Worth ISD, George West ISD, North East ISD, Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD, Fredericksburg ISD, and is currently Director of Bands for Barton MS in Hays CISD.  She has taught Elementary Music, MS Band, and HS Band.  Mrs. Rauschuber held the title of Director of Bands for thirteen of her 22 years of teaching, both at the J.H. and H.S. level.  Under her direction in George West, her band earned the distinguished honor of being selected as a State Finalist in the Outstanding Performance Series and a State Finalist in the TMEA Honor Band Contest.  As the Director of Bands for Fredericksburg MS, Mrs. Rauschuber’s bands were recognized as State Finalists in the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series since 2014 and won the 2C Concert Selection category in the 2017-18 school year.
 
Mrs. R greatly enjoys playing flute professionally and teaching private lessons.  When she can get the occasional free moment, she loves to read history, fantasy novels, and play Animal Crossing New Horizons on her Switch.  She also spends her extended free time with her husband, Mr. John Rauschuber, Director of Bands at Hays HS in Hays CISD, and her animals Sasha, Chance, and Pebbles.
